Tobin’s Spirit Guide is the codex of Ghostbusters: The Video Game on GBWorldHub, but the most useful way to treat it is as a lookup tool you keep beside the active walkthrough, boss page, or cleanup guide.

How this guide works across versions

Most of the individual enemy pages here still help on both branches, but the version split matters more than it first appears. The realistic / HD release and the stylized Wii/PlayStation 2 release share a lot of creature DNA, yet they do not always introduce, name, or stage their boss material the same way.

  • If you are on the realistic / HD branch, pair this section with the Realistic / HD P.K.E. Scan Guide and Boss Fights.
  • If you are on the stylized branch, use the Stylized Campaign / Walkthrough and Stylized Boss Fights for the chapter order, arena logic, and the boss labels unique to Wii and PlayStation 2.
  • If a stylized boss name does not have its own dedicated Tobin page yet, use the matching stylized walkthrough chapter and transcript chapter first. Those now carry the cleaner branch-specific wording.

Start here if you are not sure which page you need

  • Most Wanted Ghosts
    • A curated route into the special ghost-target side of the game if you do not want to start with the full codex.
  • Ghost Wrangling
    • The mechanics page for how trapping, slamming, and control actually work once you find the entity you are chasing.
  • Other Corporeal Entities
    • The support page for creatures and physical threats that do not fit the usual ghost categories cleanly.
  • World of Gozer
    • The lore-heavy stop for museum exhibit material and the game’s Gozer/Shandor backstory.
  • Ghostbusters Glossary
    • A quick terminology backup if a creature type, device label, or series term needs decoding.
