Playable walkthrough

The stylized Sedgewick opening moves quickly, but it still works better as a real route than as a summary. The chapter chain is simple: leave the Firehouse, catch Slimer in the ballroom, then clean up the kitchen and chef fight before Stay Puft turns the whole night sideways.

Before you start

  • Let the level hand you its prompts. These early stylized stages are brisk enough that wandering just makes the next trigger feel oddly delayed.
  • When hallways clog up, look for the object that is meant to be moved or blasted rather than pacing the lobby.

Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. On the Job Training: Go from the Firehouse garage to the upstairs lab, stay through the Psi Energy Pulse scene, then follow the others back down and head for Ecto-1. There is not a hidden detour here. The stage is just teaching the setup before the hotel work begins.
  2. Slimer’s Mitzvah: Once the team splits, take the kitchen-side route toward the ballroom. Scan when the game points you at suspicious objects, erase the Kitchen Wisps quickly so they stop nibbling at your movement, and blast or move the table and other junk blocking the hall instead of assuming you took a wrong turn. In the ballroom, keep Slimer under steady pressure until he is weak enough to slam and trap, then finish off the Sous Chef Ghosts so the stage actually closes.
  3. And the Kitchen Sink, Too: Chase the remaining chef ghost through the side halls and bar area, using the Capture Stream whenever slimed clutter pinches the route off. Once the team regroups in the kitchen, throw the cake into the oven to force Chef Sargossa back out, clear the Kitchen Wisps if they are ruining your angle, and then focus Sargossa until the trap sequence sticks. Winston’s outside call is your cue that the hotel opener is done and the Stay Puft chain is next.

What usually trips players up

  • If the stage seems stuck, a single lingering chef or kitchen enemy is often the reason.
  • The stylized hotel is straightforward, but the correct next room is usually a kitchen or ballroom-adjacent space, not the front-lobby area you keep passing through.

Chapter overview

This is the opening stylized chapter. It covers the first sweep through the Sedgewick, introduces Slimer as the early chaos engine, and teaches the basic capture rhythm that the rest of the campaign keeps building on.
