Ghostbusters: The Video Game has a nice spread of Achievements and Trophies because they are not all asking for the same kind of play. Some reward level-specific goofing around or careful observation during the campaign. Others are tied to long-form multiplayer progress, Most Wanted ghost hunting, or side-job repetition.
The out-of-print guide preserves the full list in its Supplemental Data section. This page reorganizes that material into something easier to scan, chase, and use on the web.

Single-player Achievements and Trophies
These are the unlocks most closely tied to campaign chapters, hidden interactions, or very specific level-side tasks.
- Kosher! Destroy the ham on the buffet table while fighting Slimer in the Alhambra Ballroom.
- I Love You When You Rough-House! Thoroughly wreck the drafting room in the high-rise building so the property damage total crosses the threshold for the unlock.
- But the Kids Love Us! Trigger the hidden child-ghost sequence in the kids’ reading room by clearing the blocked door, then follow the ectoplasmic footprints to the puppet theater.
- You Never Studied Listen to all four Civil War audio exhibits in the museum before the battle starts.
- I’ve Quit Better Jobs Than This. Clear the Black Slime from the hotel coat room during the return trip to the Sedgewick.
- Hedgebuster Burn every tall bush in the hedge maze before entering Shandor’s Castle.
- One Down, on the Ground! Shoot down a flying coffin in the cemetery sequence.
- Ghostbusters Drinking Game Find all the water fountain interactions across the campaign.
Multiplayer progression Achievements and Trophies
The guide also keeps a big multiplayer lane. These unlocks are less about one secret trick and more about putting in the work across side jobs, Most Wanted ghosts, and overall earnings.
- Loans Paid Off Earn more than $100,000 in your multiplayer career.
- On the Payroll Complete one multiplayer job successfully.
- Egon’s Guinea Pig Use one of every multiplayer pickup type, including both power-ups and equipment pickups.
- Payday! Finish as the overall top earner in each multiplayer campaign setting.
- It’s a Living Trap more than 50 ghosts in multiplayer.
- Wanted! Defeat three Most Wanted Ghosts.
- Employee of the Month Finish as the top earner in each multiplayer job type.
- No Job Too Big Defeat all Most Wanted Ghosts.
- Gozer’s Most Wanted Complete each multiplayer level successfully.
- Overachiever Earn more than $2.5 million in multiplayer cash, collect more than 30 awards, and complete 50 jobs successfully.
PS3-specific note
The guide also lists the Ghostbusters Platinum Trophy as a PS3-only reward that unlocks once the linked trophy set is completed. That one obviously matters only to the PlayStation trophy side of the original release.
What looks hardest from the guide?
A few of these stand out immediately:
- Ghostbusters Drinking Game, because full-location scavenger achievements are easy to partly finish and forget.
- No Job Too Big, because the Most Wanted chain in multiplayer is progressive and not every ghost appears just because you met the condition once.
- Overachiever, because it is a long-haul multiplayer grind, not a quick skill check.

Why this page belongs in the section
The guide’s Supplemental Data pages are part of the game’s real support material, not trivia fluff. They show how the game wanted to be replayed, where it expected curiosity, and how much side value it put on both destruction and cleanup. That makes the Achievement and Trophy list worth preserving, especially now that the original guide is harder to reach than the game itself.
