The Chairman turns the museum's trustee class into one more part of Shandor's corruption. The guide casts him as the most powerful of those returned power brokers, which gives the fight a nice mix of boardroom ghost story and full-on boss encounter.
Contact Protocol
Do not tunnel on the boss model. The guide is explicit that the portals come first. Shut down the Black Slime Portals, force him to hold still, then punish the glowing weak point in his chest before the next wave starts.
