Dixie is one of the most popular ghosts in the game. She’s got some great skills that have helped her to earn a place on some of the best teams that you’ll see in the PVP Arena.

Story

Dixie is a fully corporeal manifestation who roams the world, looking for someone who will agree to marry her… The catch is that she is a ghost, and insists that her future spouse be one too, whether they want to be or not. When this chocolate-loving entity decides on a potential match, she’ll do everything in her power to make sure that person becomes a ghost, short of attacking them directly. She won’t hesitate to attack anyone who tries to keep her from the object of her affection, however, and will do so aggressively.

Where did Dixie come from?

Dixie originated in an episode of The Real Ghostbusters. The episode was called “Til Death Do Us Part.” It first aired as part of season 5 of the show, on December 2, 1989.

In the episode, Janine is going on vacation, so the Ghostbusters need a temporary replacement secretary. Dixie shows up and the guys all find her very attractive. She eventually decides that she wants to marry Egon, but there’s a catch. She’s a ghost, and to marry Egon, he must die…

What does Dixie look like?

Holiday Outfit (Christmas 2018)

This is the outfit that she is wearing during the Christmas 2018 event. While I do appreciate the ability to have my Dixie wearing this outfit, it would be great to have the chance to always have her wear it. Perhaps they’ll add the ability to switch the outfit for ghosts that have additional costumes? Frankly, I’d like this to work like Pokemon Go. In that game, I have Pikachu wearing a Santa hat next to a Pikachu that is not, and I’ll never lose the Santa hat. I would love to have a Dixie wearing the white dress, and a Dixie wearing the red dress in my collection.
