Story
A fully corporeal repeating entity, the Boogieman is one of several massively powerful residents of an alternate dimension. This entity has many abilities – it can travel to this plane of existence at will, it can read minds to discover the source of one’s greatest fear, and it can transform itself into the representation of that fear, which it consumes. The biggest difference between the Boogieman and other fear-eaters is that the Boogieman feeds almost exclusively on the fear of children.
Where did the Boogieman come from?
The Boogieman first showed up in The Real Ghostbusters animated series, in an episode titled “The Boogieman Cometh.” It aired during the first season of the show. The Boogieman shows up again in season 3, in the episode “The Bogeyman is Back.” The different spelling of “boogieman” may have been intentional, or overlooked.
