In Pokemon Go, there are eggs of a variety of colors that you have to walk. The Ecto-Spheres in Ghostbusters World are pretty different. They take time to hatch, rather than walking a particular distance. They can have different lengths of time until they convert into a ghost. I’ve had an Ecto-Sphere convert in about three hours, and I’ve had an Ecto-Sphere that converted in 36 hours, and a few that have taken a lot longer.
What kinds of Ecto-Spheres are there?
There are multiple types of Ecto-Sphere in the game. There are Basic Ecto-Spheres that are more powerful depending on how long they take to convert. There are also Light/Dark Ecto-Spheres that will yield light or dark-type ghosts.

How many Ecto-Spheres can I convert at once?
You can currently convert a total of three Ecto-Spheres at a time, as you only have three Cyto-Converters. You start out with one Cyto-Converter, and you can unlock up to two more with Gems.
How many Ecto-Spheres can I carry?
You can also store up to 15 Ecto-Spheres when you start. This can be expanded to be able to carry up to 30 Ecto-Spheres at one time. The ones that you’re converting into ghosts count against that total. So if you have maxed out at 30 Ecto-Spheres, and 3 are converting, you still won’t have room for any more until the ghosts are finished converting from the Ecto-Spheres.
Where can I get more Ecto-Spheres?
You can find Ecto-Spheres in Dimensional Doors, and as rewards for completing missions. I’ve also gotten some from the Ghost Dimension when you’re completing floors on Gozer’s Tower. and Story Mode. They’re also available to purchase, individually, or in a set of 5.
What ghosts can I get from Ecto-Spheres?
The ghosts available in Ecto-Spheres appear to be random, but we’ll keep track based on what we find people report.
