This is really cool and brings a depth to the game that I really enjoy. Season 1 is the only one that Ghostbusters World has, making it clear that there will be more seasons in the future. There could also be more chapters in the first season.
Story Mode starts out as a bit of a tutorial. It teaches the player about many game features. After the Prologue, Story Mode features many chapters of ghost team battles. There are also three difficulty levels: easy, normal, and hard. These levels are unlocked in order for each chapter once the previous difficulty level has been cleared. And you get better rewards for harder difficulty settings.
