Ghostbusters World launched with a pretty good amount of equipment. That said, there is still more equipment that could be added to the game in the future, that could increase the depth of gameplay.
- Slime Blower: This pack from Ghostbusters 2 could provide a unique combination of tools. It could weaken ghosts, and in boss battles, it could turn minions against the boss and other minions. It would be similar to the proton pack in how it works, but with the twist of using a form of energy clip. You’d positively charge mood slime to load into your slime blower pack.
- EGB Pack: Extreme Ghostbusters proton pack. An upgrade from the pack used in The Real Ghostbusters.
- Proton Pistol: Also from Extreme Ghostbusters, this is a lightweight proton gun that was used by whoever carried the trap. In this case, Kylie Griffin.
- New Traps: These could be variations of the traps already in the game, or come with their own perks.
- RGB Trap: The Real Ghostbusters ghost trap
- EGB Trap: Extreme Ghostbusters ghost trap.
- ATC Trap: Ghostbusters: Answer the Call ghost trap.
- Proton Blaster: Jillian Holtzmann’s proton sidearm in Ghostbusters: Answer the Call. This could be another way to destabilize ghosts.
