This June, Wizard World is bringing the first ever Ghostbusters Fan Fest together at the Sony Pictures Studio Lot. Great timing as later that month the new Ghostbusters sequel will begin filming, so they could use the opportunity to reveal the cast of the upcoming film.
One of the features at the event, for which we have no details yet, is a Ghostbusters World portion.
According to the website: “Joining the classic original Ecto-1 used in Ghostbusters will be dozens of hand-picked Ecto replicas from fan groups and enthusiasts around the country. And to commemorate the rich history of Ghostbusters in gaming, Fan Fest will show off many different Ghostbusters video games and tabletop games. Fans of the new mobile game Ghostbusters World will be able to join in on Fan Fest exclusive content and battles, too!“
I would LOVE to be able to go to this event! I wonder if the exclusive content will be a time-based limitation, or if it will be something that you could only ever get at the event. There are no other details beyond this small mention, so we’ll let you know if and when we learn more.
