LEGO Dimensions gave Ghostbusters more than a cameo. Across multiple add-on waves, the game pulled material from both the original 1984 film and the 2016 reboot, which made Ghostbusters one of the better-served movie properties in the whole crossover.

The 1984-material pack focused on A Spook Central Adventure, a LEGO retelling of the first film with Peter, the Ecto-1, and the Ghost Trap carrying the whole theme.
The 2016 side went much bigger. The Story Pack added six levels based on the reboot, plus a dedicated Adventure World and Battle Arena content for the wider game. So Ghostbusters did not just visit LEGO Dimensions. It basically rented a whole wing of the building.
