I’m a big fan of themed consoles. Especially when that theme is Ghostbusters. I’m always up for another new Ghostbusters video game as well. So when I saw this custom Nintendo 64, like Jason from Ghostbusters News, I started trying to imagine what a Ghostbusters game would be like on the N64.
For whatever reason, I keep thinking it would be something similar to Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, but if I were to think a bit deeper about the collection of games, if you took Jet Force Gemini (or Banjo-Kazooie) and changed the atmosphere to something more Real Ghostbusters in style, gave us Proton Packs and Ghost Traps, I think we could have something spectacular! (I would only hope that the game wouldn’t land somewhere around Superman 64 in the history books.)
That said, n64rescue has created two things that have inspired all of these thoughts: a Ghostbusters themed Nintendo 64 console, and a cartridge that looks like what a dream Ghostbusters 64 game would look like.
