LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed is a mobile app that you can get on Windows, Google Play or the App Store. The game has really fun music and the sense of humor that is present in all LEGO games and movies. It’s been a joy to play.
Not just that, but the LEGO sets and minifigures that you unlock all seem to be based on actual sets that the company has produced in the past. It’s been really fun to see, and there are 40 years worth of LEGO content that they can add to this game to keep it fresh.
Ghostbusters Event Launch
They have just launched a Ghostbusters themed event today. In this event, you can unlock Peter, Ray, Egon, Winston, and Slimer minifigures, as well as the Ecto-1. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase them. So far I’ve seen an offer to purchase Peter Venkman for $29.99, but haven’t played too much of it yet, since it launched during a work day.
I’ll be putting together materials about this event soon, though, so watch for that.
While this game isn’t Ghostbusters World, if you’re into LEGO and Ghostbusters, it just might win you over. The game is an RPG where you’re trying to rebuild the LEGO city of Piptown, and you bring your minifigures on an adventure, level them up, and battle other minifigures.
