Ghostbusters World Fall 2019 Updates?

We’re closing in on the one year mark for Ghostbusters World. It seems that there is still some activity over at the development shop that works on the game (4:33).

That said, as the first anniversary approaches, we’ll hopefully see something new introduced to the game. Whether it’s as large as a new generation of ghosts to add to the 152 already in the game, or Chapter 2 of the story, or as small as a “Deadly” difficulty added to Chapter 1 of the story mode, we’d love to see some movement that adds to the game.

We’ve also seen some ideas from other recently released competitors to Ghostbusters World in this same gaming genre, and will be adding some new ideas to our idea board based on those. Some of these ideas would lead to more revenue for the developers, which would lead to more features being completed, more bugs fixed, etc.

Bugs in the Game

We still have several pretty major bugs in the game.

  1. DO NOT DUPLICATE THIS BUG. If you accidentally put the wrong weapon in the wrong spot on your character’s load-out screen, it is a game ending crash for you. You won’t be able to get back into the game until that is corrected, and the support team can’t seem to fix an account with this problem. Don’t attempt to duplicate this bug… your device won’t even be able to log out of a new account with this error on it. DO NOT DUPLICATE THIS BUG!!!!
  2. Motorola phones no longer seem to be able to run Ghostbusters World, since the latest Unity update. We’ve had many reports from players that want to get back into their games that worked previously, but no longer do since the patch that corrected the game.
  3. Multiplayer Bosses, that only show up on Saturdays, can no longer be fought. I haven’t been able to confirm this myself, but enough people have tried to bring down old Stay Puft, etc, and cannot even get the Multiplayer boss battle started.
