Cleanin’ Up the Town: Remembering Ghostbusters director Anthony Bueno was playing a game of Pixel Flow when he got to level 151, and the screen was filled with a familiar sight.

I love when I find games and other things paying homage to Ghostbusters. Even better, when it’s the director of a pair of Ghostbusters documentaries that was surprised and delighted by it.
They are currently working on raising funds to finish up and release the sequel, Too Hot to Handle: Remembering Ghostbusters II. To do so, they are running monthly live events:

A bit of history if you don’t already know: A while back, siblings Anthony and Claire Bueno set about interviewing as many of the cast and crew of both Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II to create a documentary about both films. As they worked on the documentary, they realized they had more than enough content to make a documentary for each film, and split the documentary into two. Because they only had raised the funds for one documentary, this change increased the amount of dough required to complete the project. They continued working on the second documentary, and even got Ghostbusters II‘s composer Randy Edelman to provide the score for this documentary.
As there have been very few behind-the-scenes stories and features for Ghostbusters II, we’re really excited about the prospects of this documentary, and cannot wait to see it. We’ve been a backer since the original Kickstarter, and have bought products in their shop to help them with finishing funds for the documentary. If you’re interested in helping them out, check out their shop. (This is not a sponsored post.)
