  1. Been playing the game for a while and have gotten to level 39. Feel like i have a pretty good grasp of gameplay and how to upgrade but the bosses still confuse me. I can beat all of them on easy but am hit or miss on normal. I have a L3 proton but don’t use a secondary weapon. Should i be? And if so what is a good strategy for using them against a boss? Thanks. (FYI my team is a L60 Ivo, L60 BoogieMan, L50 BlueLou, and a L50 Dixie all runed-up)

    • Hey, thanks for asking. This is a great question.

I recommend also using the Boson Caster as well. Get that upgraded to level 3 as well, and you’ll have an easier time with the bosses. I’ve been working my way up to level 4 on both the Particle Thrower and the Boson Caster, and it’s already helping me a lot more. I’ve started to see larger increases in strength on both weapons. I also tend to focus on the bosses on Easy right now, because I can get through more of them during an appearance, and with less ammunition for each round. I may not get as many shards, and there are times that I have gotten 0 shards doing this, but I’ve also gotten 1 or 2 shards from time to time, and I also get coins every time, so that’s a win.

One thing that I do, especially against Nine-Tailed Fox, is I used the Boson Caster to fire at her directly. If she is going to attack, I make sure I hold onto enough rounds to hit the target enough times to stop her attack. Every once in a while a weak point will also appear. Blast that as well. You don’t have much time to hit the targets, and you have to hit them pretty much in the center. So I also fight them with the Virtual Pad, rather than with Tilt, as my control scheme.

When it comes to the minions, as you get more powerful, you can pretty much ignore the ones on easy. You’ll be taking down the boss before your health is down very far at all. Some people clear some minions with their particle thrower and switch back to the Boson for the boss. The other secondary weapons are pretty good, too, they’re just more expensive to replenish. Once you get the boson up to level 3, the game really changes. I’ve heard, and seen dividends already, that getting your particle thrower and boson to level 4 is another game changer, and level 5 is yet again.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions!
